Chinese Author Talk Series: Lonely Manhattan

Lonely Manhattan by June He is a novel based on the lives of Chinese immigrants in New York. Of different generations, cultural backgrounds and facing various challenges, they meet here, form new relationships and struggle with cultural identities and unclear paths in this new world as they reach for their dreams.

Participants will be able to ask questions and purchase autographed books.

June He is a writer and designer who lives in New York City. She grew up in Shuzhou, China, and moved to the US in 2007. She holds a Master of Fine Arts from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
